This is the perfect jacket for America 250 and Daughters of the American Revolution events. I get compliments every time. I wear my brooches on the cord rather than piercing the fabric. I also have a magnet that I attach the brooch that preserves the fabric. The fabric is shimmery and lightweight.
I was debating whether to get the short jacket or this longer jacket. Went with the longer jacket and glad I got the last one in my size on sale. The color pairing of Teal and Apple Green is gorgeous, I’m glad that the Apple Green is subdued rather than a 1970s neon chartreuse. Very happy!

Material is nice, but if you’re a pear shaped woman, the bottom part barely goes around your hip, leaving a bigger gap in the front than I would have liked. It also needs a shoulder pad for more structured..
