The Graduated Family — A study in shape, scale and movement.
Polished Acer wood beads progress in scale to create dimension, rhythm and a more dramatic silhouette, while jet-color faceted beads with Ebony and topaz-color faceted beads with Mahogany introduce subtle flashes of light. Graduated is the statement-making expression of the collection: grounded in wood, elevated through proportion.
Why 30 inches? This is the framing necklace of the Graduated family. Its shorter length keeps the graduated beadwork closer to the face and neckline, concentrating the change in scale where it can be appreciated immediately. Choose the 30-inch when you want the dimensional character of Graduated without the sweep of an extra-long strand—or when you want the perfect upper tier for a layered Rooted Elegance composition.
Graduated Acer wood beads create a graceful sense of scale, while light-catching faceted beads add a refined flash of brilliance—jet-color with Ebony and topaz-color with Mahogany. Wear it in a single, confident sweep or style it as the grounding layer beneath longer Rooted Elegance strands.
Its special role: the neckline anchor. Wear it alone when you want the graduated silhouette to frame the face and upper body, or place it above longer Essential, Graduated or Heritage Scrollwork strands to establish the first tier of a collected composition. Among the three Graduated lengths, this is the most focused and naturally face-framing.
One strand. Your composition. The toggle closure allows this necklace to transform with you: wear it long, wrap it once for a layered effect, or arrange it close to the neck as a sculptural choker as individual fit allows.
Rooted Elegance is crafted from polished Acer wood. Ebony and Mahogany are the collection’s two colorways; they describe the finish and coloration, not different wood species. The result looks rich, substantial and luxurious, yet the natural lightness of wood makes these statement strands surprisingly lightweight for their visual scale.
Rooted Elegance returns to the polished wood beads that inspired Heidi’s first handmade necklace more than forty years ago. What began as one brave investment in her own creative instinct is now reimagined in polished Acer wood through the confidence, artistry and unmistakable glamour of the house she went on to build.
