Employee POV: Sara’s Miami Wedding Style Story

How our in-house designer turned color, confidence, and Heidi Daus style into the perfect Maid of Honor look.

When you work at Heidi Daus, you quickly realize something special about the pieces we create.
They aren’t designed for just one moment. They’re designed to travel with you, celebrate with you, and become part of the memories you return to again and again.

Our in-house designer Sara knows this better than anyone.

Meet Sara

Sara is the youngest member of our team, a graphic designer whose creativity, warmth, and vibrant personal style brighten our studio every day.

She’s expressive, artistic, and endlessly curious - someone who truly believes color has the power to change a mood, a moment, even a room.

Which makes her role at Heidi Daus particularly fitting.

Among her many responsibilities, Sara oversees color mapping across collections, helping translate Heidi’s vision into the rich palettes that make our jewelry so distinctive. For someone who clearly loves color and bold expression, it’s the perfect creative outlet. And if you’ve ever met Sara, you understand why.

Sara's Style

Her hair is often a kaleidoscope of bright shades - pink one month, sunset orange the next.

She loves playful piercings, artistic details, and pieces that feel expressive and joyful.
But what people notice most is her personality.

Positive. Warm. Bright.

She brings an energy that makes people smile - exactly the kind of spirit that embodies what Heidi Daus jewelry is all about.

So when Sara traveled to Miami to serve as Maid of Honor at a close friend’s wedding, she wanted a look that felt polished and celebratory—but still unmistakably Sara.

A Dress That Proves True Style Is Timeless

Sara chose to wear Heidi’s Floral One-Sleeve Chiffon Dress, a design originally released in 2019.

Years later, the dress is just as stunning and effortless as ever. The airy chiffon flows beautifully with movement, while the bold floral print captures the romance and vibrancy of tropical evenings.

Against the palm trees and waterfront views of Miami, the colors looked perfectly at home.

For Sara, pulling this dress from her wardrobe felt natural.

“It’s one of those pieces you know you can always rely on,” she said.

“It travels well, it moves beautifully, and it instantly makes you feel dressed up.”

Moments like this remind us why Heidi Daus pieces are such smart investments.
They’re designed with artistry and intention so they don’t fade with trends. Instead, they become pieces you can reach for again and again—years later—and still feel incredible wearing.

Sara put it simply:
“I love clothes and jewelry that don’t feel like they have an expiration date. If something makes you feel good every time you wear it, it’s worth holding onto.”

Why Sara Loves the Devil Wears Heidi Collection

To complete her Maid of Honor look, Sara paired the dress with the Devil Wears Heidi necklace and earrings, whose radiant red crystals echoed the fiery tones in the floral print. The pieces added sparkle without feeling overcomplicated—something Sara especially appreciates.

“The Devil Wears Heidi pieces are honestly some of my favorites,” she said.

“They’re glamorous, but they’re not fussy at all. You put them on and instantly feel polished.”

One of the reasons she loves the collection is how buildable it is.
“You can layer them if you want a really dramatic look, or you can wear just one piece and it still feels special,” she explained.
“That’s what makes them so easy. They work with whatever mood you’re in.”

For the wedding, Sara chose the necklace and earrings—just enough sparkle to elevate the dress without competing with the bold floral pattern or her vibrant pink hair. And the compliments came quickly.

“I had so many people come up to me telling me how fabulous I looked,” she laughed. “It was such a great feeling. Jewelry really does pull everything together.”

Jewelry That Celebrates Your Individual Style

One of the most beautiful things about Heidi Daus jewelry is that it never asks you to change who you are. Instead, it enhances what already makes you unique.
Sara’s colorful hair and modern edge might not be what people traditionally picture when they imagine statement jewelry—but that contrast is exactly what made the look so striking.
The fiery crystals played beautifully against her pink hair, while the flowing floral dress added softness and romance.

“It felt very me,” Sara said. “That’s what I love about Heidi pieces—they don’t overpower your personality. They highlight it.”

Effortless Travel Glam

Destination weddings often mean packing strategically and styling efficiently.

Sara kept things refreshingly simple. With one statement dress and a few carefully chosen jewelry pieces, she created a look that traveled easily and felt polished from the moment she arrived.

“I didn’t want anything complicated,” she said. “These pieces are perfect because they make everything look finished without requiring a lot of effort.”

From waterfront photos to celebratory dinners and dancing, the look felt effortless all day long.

Perfect for Miami

Miami is a city that celebrates color, confidence, and bold personal style. Sara’s look captured that spirit perfectly. Between the tropical palms, the waterfront views, and the golden evening light, the floral chiffon dress and fiery crystal jewelry looked completely at home.

More importantly, Sara felt exactly how a Maid of Honor should feel: Confident. Comfortable. Beautiful. And glowing with the joy of celebrating someone she loves.

Jewelry That Becomes Part of Your Story

Sara’s Miami wedding look reminds us that jewelry isn’t about fitting into a certain style box. It’s about expressing who you are. Whether your style is classic, colorful, edgy, romantic—or something entirely your own—the right pieces become companions in the moments that matter most.

Pieces you travel with.
Pieces you celebrate in.
Pieces you reach for again and again.

Because when jewelry is crafted with artistry and intention,
it becomes more than an accessory.
It becomes part of your story. Adorn with intention.

Shine without apology.
